Outdoor Derby at Gilwell Park

Troop 401 braved the rain and mud and headed to Gilwell Park for an Outdoor Derby camping weekend.

Gilwell Park is world famous as the home to the Scout movement. Located on the edge of Epping Forest, this is where the Founder of Scouting, Robert Baden-Powell, chose as his original training ground.

The outdoor derby is an annual event for Troop 401 where we hold interpatrol competitions including a gourmet cooking competition.
